Northern Heritage Journey

Overview

This seven-day journey covers three of Afghanistan's most rewarding destinations: the capital Kabul, the ancient Buddhist valley of Bamiyan, and the culturally rich northern city of Mazar-e-Sharif. Travellers will visit iconic archaeological sites, walk through Afghanistan's first national park, and explore the ancient ruins of Balkh — once described as the Mother of Cities. The tour also includes a visit to a traditional Turkmen carpet workshop in Mazar-e-Sharif, offering a rare insight into one of Afghanistan's most celebrated craft traditions.
