From Kabul, the tour heads to Bamiyan and Band-e Amir before returning to the capital and flying west to Herat — a city famed for its Timurid architecture and craft traditions. The route then turns south across the deserts of Farah and Nimruz to Lashkargah and Kandahar, one of Afghanistan's oldest cities and a place of profound historical and cultural importance.
